Case Management
A special education case manager is responsible for ensuring services and supports are in place and provided as determined by the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), and acts as a liaison between the student’s teachers and parents.
A student's IEP team can be composed of several providers (SLPs, OT, and counselors) providing different services. The case manager oversees the IEP and collaborates with everyone to make sure the special education services and supports outlined in the IEP document are provided.
